✿ REFLECTION ✿
The Illustration and Narrative module has been an enriching and transformative learning experience for me. Throughout the course, I have gained valuable insights and skills in visual storytelling, digital illustration, and narrative composition.
One of the highlights of the module was exploring various storytelling techniques and understanding the importance of composition, visual hierarchy, and design principles in creating captivating narratives. I learned how to effectively use color, shape, and space to convey emotions, guide the viewer's attention, and enhance the overall impact of my illustrations.
Working with Adobe Illustrator and After Effects was a significant part of the module, and it allowed me to unleash my creativity and bring my ideas to life. I learned how to use different tools and techniques, such as the brush tool, puppet warp, and animation by frames, to create dynamic and visually engaging illustrations and animations.
Another valuable aspect of the module was the opportunity to receive feedback and critiques from my peers and the lecturer. This helped me refine my work, gain different perspectives, and improve my storytelling abilities. It also fostered a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
Overall, the Illustration and Narrative module has provided me with a solid foundation in visual storytelling and illustration. I feel more confident in my ability to communicate ideas and emotions through my artwork. I am excited to continue exploring and refining my skills in this field, and I am grateful for the knowledge and experiences gained during this module.
