1.0 RESEARCH

In the final project, we will animate our story. This involves bringing our storyboard to life, using animation techniques to create a dynamic and engaging visual narrative. By combining the elements we've developed, such as character design, setting, and plot, we'll create a cohesive and compelling animation that showcases our storytelling skills.

2.0 DIGITALIZATION

In week 10, Mr. Kamal provided feedback on our storyboard thumbnails. I hadn't drawn mine yet, so I started working on it in class. After completing my storyboard, I asked for his feedback. He suggested some changes to improve my animation, which I implemented to enhance the overall quality of the project.

After receiving feedback from Mr. Kamal, I decided to use Procreate to redraw the storyboard. This allowed me to incorporate his suggestions and refine the details, ensuring that the storyboard was more polished and effective in conveying my animation's narrative.

After finishing the storyboard, I started animating it in Procreate to have a clear direction for the final project. This step helps in visualizing the flow of the story, refining the timing of scenes, and ensuring that the narrative is effectively conveyed through animation. Using Procreate allows me to bring the storyboard sketches to life and see how the final animation will unfold.

I showed the animated draft to Mr. Kamal, and he approved it. With his approval, I decided to use this draft as the basis for my final animation, refining and enhancing it to complete the project.

✿ REFLECTION ✿ 

Completing the final project has been an insightful and transformative experience, significantly enhancing my skills as an animator and storyteller. Beginning with the storyboard and refining it with Mr. Kamal's invaluable feedback provided a solid foundation for the animation. Using Procreate to create an animated draft allowed me to visualize the flow and timing, leading to a clear direction for the final animation. Mr. Kamal's approval of the draft was a pivotal moment, boosting my confidence to proceed. This project taught me the importance of planning, feedback, and refinement, culminating in a polished final animation. The knowledge and skills gained from this process will undoubtedly benefit my future endeavors in animation.
