✿ FINAL PROJECT ✿

In our final project, we segmented our efforts into five key components:

3D Model: Crafting a visual representation of a Kopitiam's ambiance and layout.
Poster Design: Creating visually appealing posters to promote Kopitiam culture.
Free Gifts (Bookmark & Sticker): Designing and distributing promotional items.
Menu: Developing a comprehensive and visually enticing menu.
Interactive Experience (Optional): Exploring digital or augmented reality elements for enhanced engagement.

In our project, Yutian and I focused on the Poster Design component. We collaborated to create visually captivating posters that effectively conveyed the essence of Kopitiam culture, aiming to attract visitors and promote engagement with our project.

For the first poster, Yutian and I collaborated to introduce the classic breakfast set commonly found in Kopitiams. I conducted research to gather images of these breakfast items, while Yutian used Photoshop to enhance color tones. Additionally, I provided detailed descriptions of each breakfast item to accompany the visuals.

Moving on to the second poster, our focus shifted to highlighting the unique beverage culture in Kopitiams. Using Adobe Illustrator, I crafted illustrations of various beverages and incorporated them into the design. To address empty space concerns, Yutian suggested adding explanations about the beverages directly onto the poster. This collaborative effort resulted in informative posters that not only showcase Kopitiam offerings but also serve as engaging wall decorations for the 3D model gathering space.

After individually completing our tasks, we collaborated to compile a final PowerPoint presentation showcasing our project on Kopitiam culture. Incorporating our respective designs, we highlighted the classic breakfast set and unique beverage culture through visually appealing posters. Each slide features a blend of visuals and descriptive text, providing insights into Kopitiam culture and our design process. Our presentation offers a comprehensive overview of Kopitiam experiences, aiming to engage and educate our audience effectively.

Working alongside peers like Yutian, I had the opportunity to contribute to the Poster Design component, where I honed my research, design, and communication skills. This collaborative effort not only allowed us to leverage each other's strengths but also taught me the importance of effective teamwork, communication, and adaptability in achieving our shared objectives. Through discussions and feedback exchanges, I gained valuable insights and refined my ideas, ultimately contributing to a cohesive and impactful final presentation. Beyond the technical aspects, this module fostered personal growth, emphasizing the significance of openness to feedback and the willingness to iterate on ideas to achieve the best outcomes. Overall, this module was a valuable learning experience that equipped me with both tangible skills and invaluable lessons in collaboration, communication, and adaptability, which I am eager to apply in future endeavors.
