✿ TASK3: CHANNEL IDENT/IDENTITY ✿
In Task 3, we need to continue from Task 2. We will synthesize the knowledge gained in Tasks 1 and 2 for application in Task 3. We are to use the previously chosen channel from Task 2 to create a channel ident motion graphic video.
REQUIREMENTS:
Students are to use information for any proposed channel (*existing or
fictional)
• create mood-board that reflects their concept/idea
• storyboard
• animatics
• explore appropriate audio to uplift the motion tempo
1.0 RESEARCH

Before I started Task 3, I searched for some backgrounds that I was going to
use on Pinterest.

I also sketched out the storyboard to provide myself with a clearer direction
before starting the project.

Figure 2.8 Process
The Barbie doll in this frame was taken directly from the actual music video,
and then I incorporated it into my frame.
Even though I failed to apply the technique in this part, I attempted
another approach, focusing on frames with only three words each.
Task 3, continuing the channel ident motion graphic project, presented challenges and opportunities for growth. Initially aiming to incorporate the 3D technique proved difficult due to the rapid pace of the lyrics. However, I adapted by focusing on frames with minimal text, effectively showcasing the technique. Research and preparation were key, with storyboard sketches and animatic drafts ensuring precise timing. Using Adobe Illustrator, I meticulously designed each frame to align with the channel's aesthetic, then refined animations in Adobe After Effects. Collaboration and feedback from peers and Mr. Fauzi were invaluable, refining fluidity and coherence. Overall, Task 3 was a rewarding learning experience, highlighting the importance of adaptability and perseverance in creative projects.

After finishing all the frames, I proceeded to import each one into my
project and arranged them meticulously, ensuring a seamless sequence. This
process involved carefully placing each frame in Adobe After Effects,
adjusting their timing and transitions to maintain a fluid
animation.

In Task 3, I aimed to apply the 3D technique taught by Mr. Fauzi, but I
encountered several challenges despite its perceived simplicity. The main
issue was the rapid pace of the lyrics, which made it difficult to
effectively implement the 3D effects.
