Personal Plan – Task 2 For Task 2, my goal is to develop the key
visual elements and initial animations for the project. I plan to:
Identify Key Elements – Determine all essential visuals that need to appear in the
animation.
Create Assets –
Design clean, consistent illustrations using Adobe Illustrator.
Animate Elements –
Use Procreate to create frame-by-frame animations for expressive motion.
Combine and Refine –
Bring all animations into After Effects to composite, adjust timing, and
finalize sequences.
Seek Feedback –
Regularly review progress with supervisors to ensure the work aligns with
the concept and narrative.
This plan will help me stay organized, improve my skills, and produce a
coherent, visually appealing animation for the project.

✿ FEEDBACK ✿
Week 4
Mr. Vinod feels that 5 seconds per ad is too short to communicate both the
coffee-making process and its cultural meaning, resulting in unclear
priorities between messages. The proposal introduction lacks clarity and
focus, includes unnecessary explanations, and does not clearly state the
project’s purpose. It is also weak due to a lack of evidence, citations, and
consideration for a general audience. However, Mr. Kamal approved the overall
visual direction of the moodboard.

Week 7
Mr. Vinod stated that she needs to determine a clear colour palette to
maintain the identity of the animation series. The animatics are crude and
somewhat difficult to understand. Some illustrated scenes are reasonably well
done, but establishing a consistent colour palette would improve the overall
identity of the series. He also advised her to urgently meet with her
discipline supervisor to discuss the project’s progress.
✿ REFLECTION ✿
During Task 2, I worked on creating and animating the key visual elements
using Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, and After Effects. This task taught me
the importance of consistency in style, such as maintaining a clear color
palette, and how frame-by-frame animation can bring illustrations to life. I
also learned to manage my workflow efficiently, moving from static visuals
to dynamic sequences. Feedback from Mr. Vinod and Mr. Kamal helped me
improve the visual identity and clarity of the animation.
